The methodology Pachamama Raymi

The methodology Pachamama Raymi

The methodology that will be used in both villages is Pachamama Raymi. It is peer learning through which families and villages learn about the opportunities they have to improve their lives. From other farmers they learn how to do that. The methodology also uses motivators to achieve that over 60% of the population applies all what they learned. The most important motivator are contests about what people can do to reclaim their resources and become prosperous.

The first such contest between families started in Sarame on the 22nd of May and in Vilima Vitatu on the 24th of May 2015. These were festive events and included a bicycle race, dance and music contests, and best sheep, goat and cow contests.
